Georgia Republican congressional candidate Marjorie Taylor Greene had sharp phrases for Home Speaker Nancy Pelosi throughout her victory speech following a runoff main election Tuesday.

Greene, who defeated John Cowan to earn the GOP nomination for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, wasted no time in going after the Democratic chief.

“She’s a hypocrite. She’s anti-American. And we’re going to kick that b—- out of Congress,” Greene mentioned.

Greene’s ire was not solely directed at Democrats, as she threw her victory within the face of her personal get together after a variety of Republican leaders got here out in opposition to her.

“The GOP institution, the media, & the novel left, spent months & thousands and thousands of {dollars} attacking me,” she tweeted. “Tonight the individuals of Georgia stood up & mentioned that we’ll not be intimidated or imagine these lies.”

Greene had come underneath elevated scrutiny and assaults after previous social media movies confirmed her help of QAnon conspiracy theories and espousing views which have been condemned as racist, Islamophobic and anti-Semitic.

A number of distinguished Republicans expressed disgust for Greene’s feedback, together with Home Minority Chief Kevin McCarthy, of California, Rep. Jody Hice, of Georgia, who withdrew his help for Greene, and Minority Whip Steve Scalise, of Louisiana, who threw his help behind Cowan.

“The feedback made by Ms. Greene are disgusting and don’t replicate the values of equality and decency that make our nation nice,” Scalise mentioned in an announcement to Politico. “I will likely be supporting Dr. Cowan.”

Greene is about to face Democratic candidate Kevin Van Ausdal in November’s basic election.
